Now is the time to return to London, and a semblance of normality. But you will have done an amazing thing and raised a shedload of cash for Cancer Research UK. Well done you.

What are you waiting for? Book a ticket at Easyjet.

If you’re not sure about it yet then : Look into my thighs, look into my thighs. You are feeling sleepy. Look into my flies, stare into my flies, you are now asleep.

Come come come come come come come come. Come. C-O-M-E. Come.

So you’re coming?

Just the ticket

Here are the ticket details – I’m getting the train out on the 20:29 Eurotunnel on 28th September, and flying back on the Easyjet flight at 18:20.

Remember, no hand luggage on the planes, which will make it hard to hide snakes. Sorry about the lame post, but am feeling slightly tired after the Secret Garden Party. A bit of the double whammy, that. My favourite white pointy shoes also got dirty there.

Who’d have thought that pale leather winklepickers would be a stupid thing to take to a muddy field in Cambridgeshire?

What to do next?

You’re a talented, amazing, beautiful, intelligent person and have quickly grasped that the Kill Cancer Death Rally is a good idea. At the same time you’re practical and you ask ‘What do I do next?’.

The answer to that is : buy a ticket on the Eurotunnel on Thursday 28th September.

I think it’d be great if we could drive off from London in convoy, and it only takes an hour and a half to Folkestone. If we leave at six we should probably think about getting the eight o’clock Eurotunnel (which only costs £51).

Is this a good plan? Is six o’clock a good time for you to leave? What about rush hour? If anyone’s got any thoughts, post a comment below.

(Of course, you don’t have to limit those thoughts to travel arrangements but please stop short of rambling accounts of dreams. Unless it was a really cool involving him, her, plenty of this and one of these).

Guide Ferrets not Included

It is slightly strange to start giving out information about The Kill Cancer Rally without a date. Admittedly there is a certain glamour attached to this sort of lack. The Rally without a Date gets a bit of The Man With No Name and Rebel Without a Cause cachet, however, it does make planning things very difficult.

So let’s ditch the ado, we leave London on September 28th, hit Le Touquet that night. Career off to Le Mans for some racing (more details to come, these lazy surrender singes were enjoying a two and a half hour lunch break when I called). Bordeaux and wine next, arrive in Barcelona on 1st October, fly back on October 1st.

Tickets and things :

The price of a Eurotunnel ticket is – at the time of writing – £51 (check it here). What’s more, Easyjet have still got £22 flights kicking about. It’s really not expensive.

Through all this it is important to remember one thing. If it costs an extra £30 to take a ferret on the Eurotunnel, but nothing for a guide dog, where does that leave guide ferrets?
